BT-01 FR-CONCEPT Drift Conversion Kit
This is a drift conversion kit for FR layouts for the Tamiya BT-01 kit.
FR chassis that WRAP-UP NEXT has been pursuing since its founding. The development was based on the FR-D series, and a traction machine that overturns the concept of FR operation feel and front motors has been completed.
The all-in-one front unit VX-DOCK ZERO is centered on a servo bulkhead located in the center, and integrates a direct steering mechanism, shock tower, and suspension. We have achieved an overwhelming turning angle designed specifically for drifting and optimized the geometry. In addition, most of the parts are made of aluminum and carbon parts to achieve high precision and durability.
The lineup includes two types: a specification with a newly designed carbon battery holder and a holderless specification that allows you to use the standard plastic battery holder of the kit.
*This conversion kit requires simple processing (cutting) of a part of the chassis, which takes about 5 minutes.
WB256/262mm +5mm LONG WHEEL-BASE
The wheelbase of the standard BT-01 kit is 251mm/257mm, but by extending the front axle 5mm forward, it can be changed to 256mm/262mm. To accommodate the long wheelbase body, the motor is positioned 5mm further back to improve traction performance.
